if pac does not retire next year, by the time he gets to 135, diaz would be in 147, lol...

LOL!!! Actually, like I said, there are many! I have met quite a number. Some have fallen so much in love with the islands and people, they now live in such places as Boracay, Cebu, some coastal towns in Pangasinan...

There's quite an expat community of Germans and Scandinavians in Bohol and near the beach at Pagodpod (spelling? ) in the Ilocos region.

They know how to spell "Philippines" and "Filipinos", I'm sure!

We try to check out lotsa places every chance we get, but no, I've not been to Palawan. I've heard so much about it though:

There's a white cliff (like those at Dover in England) in Palawan, I have been told and there's great wildlife in an island near there featuring not only animals that are indigenous to the Philippines but also African wildlife.

Maybe next time.

Also, next time we'd much like to include in our IT Samal near Davao as well as Kamigin...

We're not tourists in the strict sense of the word, really. Our ties to the islands go all the way back to my grandparents who were among the so-called "Thomasites"-- teachers sent to the Philippines aboard the USS Thomas. I think you've heard of them.
