Wouldn't be surprised if this was true. If an old Ortiz almost did it Wlad could. Also Wilder did avoid Wlad at that time.
But it doesn't matter if it is true. The only people who care would be those who think an 'invincible boxer' genuinely exists. If you box very good fighters - you risk being knocked out no matter who you are.
In no other individual sport do you have people who unbeaten. The only reason you get them in boxing is because boxing is the only sport where you can pick who you fight.

At this point its just a matter of how bad the beating was that Wlad gave him and not if it actually happened. At the end of the day it is only sparring but in this case its telling that Wilder's management did not want him anywhere near Wlad, Wilder himself never called out Wlad and he seemed to think AJ fighting Wlad was a mistake....... those sparring sessions left a serious impression lol.

I think Tyson Fury said it aswell, like I said too many people have come out with the same story so its got to be pretty much fact, I think if Wilder didn't avoid Wlad like the plague then this stroy wouldn't have so much traction.
