Hmmm I agree Eubank is good at bringing on the pressure but I don’t think it would be as straight forward cause Korobov does one-up him in the skills department and is pretty durable himself usually. Charlo who I think is more talented than Eubank only just got by him.

Anyway no issues with any predictions made, I only took issue with Larry saying that Eubank “literally KO’d” Korobov..... I mean he must have only boxrec checked the fight without watching it.

Any combination of those three is good. Doubt Charlo wants any of it.

That's all well and good, and I think Charlo-Eubank Jr. will be an entertaining matchup. I just happen to think that for all of his heart and athleticism, Eubank Jr. will be eating shots all night whereas Andrade would represent a tougher puzzle to solve. Either way I won't complain about a good fight as Charlo-Eubank is infinitely better than Charlo-Hogan.

I feel the same way. Many people only look at the boxrec ratings but I think it's important to go a step further and look at the actual matchup. Derevyanchenko is both technically skilled and relentless.

i don't only look at the boxrec ratings....I know Andrade well..were both from RI...ive been following him since he was a kid

I don't disagree that he may present a more difficult puzzle than eubank....but that's not the end all be all....andrades resume stinks to the high heavens....eubank, even in defeat, has been in with some solid guys...and even bigger guys like groves....

remember back when lara was calling for a fight with golovkin and it fell on deaf ears? well lara would have been the best name on golovkins resume and probably been a more difficult puzzle to solve than some of golovkins opponents around that time

Andrade has fought nobody noteworthy....and nobody really watches his fights because he fights mostly nobodies.....aside from sulecki who isn't really a big name just a solid scalp...

through andrades own fault, and some of hearns, Andrade isn't that appealing...Andrade did next to nothing before DAZN and he hasn't done much more since getting there

theres a reason boxrec has eubanks several spots ahead of Andrade...because resume counts and their rankings cut through the BS

Fair enough, and I would have liked to see Golovkin take on Lara at that time. One could argue that elusive boxers get fewer opportunities than less-defensive, all-action fighters because the former is tougher to beat and/or look good against. Boxing is entertainment too though, so I get it in that sense. Hopefully Andrade will get his "Shane Mosley" opportunity like Winky Wright did.

I would have loved to see it as well. I think Lara would have been an easy opponent for GGG. He's too inactive to win a decision. But he was perfectly content to fight a string of guys better suited to up and coming prospects than a top tier fighter between his Canelo and Hurd fights.
