He's definitely ready to step up, but he's only 22. It's nice to see Haney, Tank, Benavidez, Ryan Garcia, etc fighting tougher opposition, but those guys are the exception.

He could take his time and fight for a title for the first time in 2-3 years and still be on a decent pace. Thurman didn't win the WBA title until he was 26.

I posted in another thread but apparently they are having trouble finding opponents for him. His pops said Showtime told him that 15 fighters turned him down. The fact he doesn't have a big promotion machine behind him hurts.

One of the announcers must’ve given Ennis a compliment.

whenever certain fighters get compliments for looking great against an easy resume, dramashow aka Madison boxing, gets very upset and feels the need to criticize that fighter because he is still hurt that people said this about his beloved ggg when he was doing nothing but beating bums.

He's from Kazakhstan actually and I think he'd had just about enough. I was a bit disappointed at the time since he was bringing him a decent fight despite all that punishment, but in hindsight I think it was for the best. I like the guy actually, he's a fun throwback kinda action fighter, rocks a cross arm guard sometimes and always comes to fight, never lays down. Unfortunately he is a walking punch bag and seems pretty adamant about refusing to ever jab. Could see him possibly upsetting a ****y young prospect in the future though.
