Yeah but him turning down 10 million is fresh on your mind and that was back then, not to mention he had multiple chances before then to take the fight @ 155 but I’m sure you can sympathize with Golovkin holding out, as well as anything Golovkin does you can rationalize but when it comes to Charlo.... why can’t you see that it’s similar
Is Charlo using the Golovkin blueprint to model his career???

He negotiated with Jacobs an entire year over like 200k supposedly & delayed the fight all that time without being stripped(& cried that Jacobs robbed him of an extra calender date & that he was supposedly a pos for doing that & supposedly having aged ggg a lil more(I also recall you specifically saying that back then),& during that time he dragged up a ww to 160 weeks after saying a ww fighting a jmw at 155 was a disgrace to Boxing.(Oh I forget catchweights are a disgrace to boxing despite ggg demanding 1 from Ward(half-heartedly of course)& despite ggg fighting Rolls at 164 as well as offering Rosado a cw.Last edited by kushking; 01-13-2020, 01:54 AM.Comment

He walked up to him face to face, Charlo backed down. What would be the point in sending anything? We just seen him turn down 7 mil. If he’s turning down 7, he’s not fighting Jacobs on any terms.Comment

You don’t know that and I’m not gonna take your word for it. And what would you have Charlo do punch Jacobs in the face and get arrested? That’s not what professional fighters do.Comment

No it wasn't. The Canelo fight or Cotto fight would have been far more meaningful for GGG's career than a Ward fight ever would have been. Ward was a hardcore fight fans fighter and nothing more. Cotto and Canelo had huge legions of fans. That was the only fight that would and could have mattered for his career. Let’s revisit what came out of Golovkins mouth. He asked for fights vs Floyd, Pac, and Canelo specifically. Those are 3 fighters he thought he could easily KO but when Ward came knocking all we heard was the Duck Tales song in the background.
Stop lying.Comment

Well, it’s like I and many others have said, Charlo never intended on fighting Jacobs. He’s the same as many in his era. Talk about someone to make waves and never have real intentions of fighting. I think Charlo has all the tools to beat these guys, especially those uppercuts, damn those are nice, but I don’t see him doing anything about it, and it’s sad because he’s almost 30 with nothing going on in his career.Comment
