They had to lower his competition after the korobov fight. Even inactive past prime korobov was too good for the young lion. You wont see him in with a dangerous fighter again unless its a canelo payday
What's the end game with PBC and Jermall Charlo?

You follow me from topic to topic. This is the same reason I put 1sad65 on ignore. You're getting close to getting that same treatment because I can't have a conversation about anything without you lighting up my notifications. You're becoming a stalker.Comment

Nah, this is about one of the greatest quotes in the Christian holy book
that is wired into the brain of people from all walks of life.
Matthew 7:3 (New International Version)
"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye
and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
This is exactly what you've been generally posting about.Comment

Its simple. Charlo is on the same PBC bus as Tank, Spence and Wilder. They all have world titles to lose and all their number 1 opposition seems to be able to put more money down than the PBC do.
The PBC will not allow these 4 guys to fight on another network regardless of what they might be offered.
The PBC also do not have enough faith in their fighters to dare put belts on the line to allow the fighters the chance to try.
It's what they do and then come out with hundreds of lame excuses or try to disguise a duck by trying to push the blame on the opposition, opposition which usually is the side that has actually made an offer.
There's been many solid financial offers I've seen turned down on the basis the PBC feel the fight would be best suited on their networks and make more money. But then they just walk off, no counter offer, they just walk away and make some weak mismatch in house fight instead.Comment

Good question. Still hasn't cracked $2M yet as far as I know. Still cannot headline a Vegas venue or a PPV. Thirty years old, 30-0, champion in two weight classes and he is going nowhere. That's what happens when you pad your record on no-hopers and mismatches.Comment
