Comments Thread For: Jaime Munguia: I Want All The Best - Canelo, Golovkin, Charlo!

SAN ANTONIO-If there was any upside to having to train through the holidays, it's that Jaime Munguia had an additional six pounds to work with for his next fight. The former junior middleweight titlist comfortably fit into a 160-pound frame (159.4, officially) for his first fight at middleweight, am 11th round stoppage of veteran fringe contender Gary Spike' O'Sullivan. The win-which aired live on DAZN from The Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas-was preceded by pockets of entertaining two-way action, but with Ireland's O'Sullivan simply wearing down while the unbeaten former champ looked like he could go another 12 rounds.

He should fight Charlo, that would be easy work for him.

Unfortunately, I don't think Charlo would fight him. I don't think Charlo will fight anyone with a name.

Andrade will box his ears off, literally. There's no potential championship bout for Munguia in 2020, maybe if Canelo vacates his WBA belt, if he hasnt done it yet, if not he'll be continuing fighting some low level opposition or even 154 pounders for the rest of the year

Munguia should stay away from all of the titleists for at least 12-18months.

Hmm not so sure about any of this . My guess is oscar is lining up manguia for that wba if canelo vacates which looks highly likely . I dont see jamie beating ggg or charlo and I dont see canelo taking that fight yet .

Golovkin would look like a Prime GGG again against this punching bag.

Al Haymon's hater's obsession with PBC fighters is starting to become worrisome. Why don't you guys focus on Andrade vs Mungia vs 3G vs Canelo. You keep bragging on all the middleweights you have (which is essentially all DAZN has) that aren't fighting each other. You need PBC fighters (Wilder, Charlo, Tank) to help your fledgling company out. Uncle Al a'int sending no one over to bail you out! You're on your own. If Canelo fights Charlo then its PPV. If Wilder fights AJ its PPV in Vegas = MAX MONEY! If Andrade fights Charlo its FOX. Just because Eddie finessed a few American fighters and got them to join the app, the majority 'held the line' and are sticking with the Haymon plan which is terrestrial TV, cable and PPV. TRust me, I live in D.C. which has always been a good boxing area, and no one talks about DA-ZASTER. I always throw fight parties and everyone calls me in the week leading up to a big fight, even casual fans who don't know a lot about the sport but loves seeing old buddies at the party. Literally no one calls me when there's a DAZN fight, even a Canelo fight. What a shame because Canelo is losing so much fame and money electing to stay on the App. I understand why D Jacobs, Mikey and Tevin signed up because they legally robbed the bank with no mask. But Devin Haney needs to realize this is a critical time in his young career where his name needs to be in every conversation in America when Tank, Loma and Teofomo's names are mentioned. GBP and the other American fights need to get back over on 'this side of the street' now. It's only a matter of time before the Titantic meets the iceberg. Please jump ship now!

Easy work??? You clearly don't know boxing. Charlo would beat shiyte out of that boy. Mungia's skills are so limited it ain't even funny. He's the mandatory to Andrade at DAZN. Kinda funny he didn't mention his name. He's only going to fight guys that are way shorter and smaller than him. The trick backfired against Hogan though. Personally I think David Lemieux knocks him out. Simply stating facts.
