Disregard what was said in the corner.Originally posted by azza-mche didnt quit, this has been talked about before,he was asking for 1 more round, his trainer said im gonna have 2 stop it ur eyes swelled shut
The fact of the matter was he did not come out to fight after the 6th round, and therefore quit on his stool. It doesnt matter who why and when, it just matters that he did.Comment

Listen, if the ref had stopped the fight then that is regarded as a TKO, but not because the fighter quit. However if the fighter retires in the corner then that is regarded as a TKO also, but by the fighter quitting himself from the fight.Originally posted by azza-mcno,but that wasnt his choice, his corner stopped it,its like sayin when the reff stops the fight then the fighter quit,no,some 1 else stopped it,not the fighter
The fighter had more power than the corner. If he had walked out the corner wouldnt have been able to do anything, so long as the ref thought he was OK to fight. However Arturo didnt, he just sat there with an extremely swollen up face. He probably felt saved that the corner had suggested he quit, not disappointed in them.Comment
