Listen, if the ref had stopped the fight then that is regarded as a TKO, but not because the fighter quit. However if the fighter retires in the corner then that is regarded as a TKO also, but by the fighter quitting himself from the fight.Originally posted by azza-mc
The fighter had more power than the corner. If he had walked out the corner wouldnt have been able to do anything, so long as the ref thought he was OK to fight. However Arturo didnt, he just sat there with an extremely swollen up face. He probably felt saved that the corner had suggested he quit, not disappointed in them.Comment
