Mark my words Munguia fuccks ggg up now.
munguia allowed spike to back him off to the ropes more than a couple times. He would get knocked out if he does that against GGG.

Forgot to mention, Munguia's jab was also definitely on point tonight.
Munguia, following them up with right crosses also looked good and were super effective.

Damn I forgot. Maybe they'll rematch at MW lol. I don't expect GBP to match him against any titlist, so what other filler opponents are available at MW?

As a fan, you find that to be more important to you, meaning his, or any other fighter's potential, or lack thereof, when in against the top ten of his division, as opposed to watching entertaining fights?

If there was anything to take away for me is that Munguia's chin was holding up, but he should try to get hit less. If he gets hit by any of the top MWs he might get KO-ed.
Pretty good assessment. Even in the deep water when Spike began to slow and lose his legs he still caught Munguia with some really well timed and pretty hard shots. Not to mention had him against the ropes a few times even later on. It looked like a slicker Jaime 2.0 for the first 3-4, but then there seemed to sort of a reversion to older habits around midpoint. Spike impressed me with his resilience and Munguia with the improvements mentioned earlier in thread, but more work needed before he's ready for the tops at 160 imo.

Oh and his cardio was good so you can tell it was getting tough for him to make 154

                Why?

                Munguia whooped him easily already.

Munguia is definitely a work in progress but he showed improved in spots he started with good head movement but abandoned it his jab is very good and was rocking Spikes head back and he shot it to the body a lot that stopped O'Sullivan in his tracks most of the fight. The improvement is there it's just he doesn't want to box and fight off the jab he likes to fight that's going to be his downfall if he stays with the jab and right cross/left hook he can develop into a great fighter but if he fights somebody like Charlo, Andrade or Canelo he is going to have problems not ready yet needs 3-4 more fights with Morales.

I60 division is now loaded with fine pugilists.
If Boo Boo honours his mandatory bout and wins, his next mandatory against Munguia will not take place any time soon.
