SAN ANTONIO-Hector Tanajara Jr. was assigned his toughest test to date in his first hometown appearance as a pro. He handled both scenarios with poise well beyond his 23 years of age. The unbeaten lightweight prospect delivered a complete performance in outpointing former title challenger Juan Carlos Burgos over 10 rounds Saturday evening at The Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Tanajara still has quite a bit of work before you can mention him with Haney or Garcia

Are you telling me that? I never said that but what makes you say that in the first place Haney looked like **** against Burgos just a few fights ago that was my comparison Tanajara boxed Burgos better than the 3 I mentioned. Burgos is also better than anybody on Ryan Garcias record he should've been champ at 130 but got robbed against Roman Martinez and has only lost to champions before Tanajara.

They all came out the amateurs together the only difference is GoldenBoy pushes Garcia way harder because hes more marketable and Haneys dad did a good job of marketing him as well.

The quote was not meant for you at all
I just find the kid looks green
            That’s all
Your right though about Garcia and Haney being groomed in a much more visible way

Yeah I feel you I just have to disagree because Tanajara fought Burgos a former world title challenger and had little issues looked better against him than the current "WBC" champ which is bull because everyone knows Loma is the real champ and he also beat Roger Gutierrez comfortably who recently showed he can punch in upsetting a highly touted Mexican prospect Rocky Hernandez in 1 round.

He has got up off the canvas to win also something Garcia and Haney have yet to experience so I don't feel hes green just needs 1 or 2 more fights and he will challenge for a title lets not forget Ryan isn't a champ either and Haney was gifted a belt they are all in the same league to me let them fight and let the best man win.

                I won’t argue with you
Maybe it’s one or two fights or maybe more
They are all from the same league and maybe your right about the way they were brought up might Fugh up my vision of them
He didn’t get up and come back strong in that fight , maybe that was a moment of growing pains
Not sure but we’ll have a better idea once he gets another fight
