I think Danny probably priced himself out or just didn't want to fight. He is a cherry picker who almost never takes hard fights unless it's to challenge for a world title. Look at the difference in the overall quality of their last few opponents. Mikey fights a tough opponent every single fight while Danny often fights guys not even in boxrec top 30 like Rios. As usual Danny's next fight is with an average guy while Mikey is fighting a top guy in Vargas.Danny just wants to take easy fights he knows he can't lose while hoping for the Pacquiao fight. Danny turned down 4 million to fight Crawford if what I read was true.

Both are part time fighters who want to get paid handsomely for not taking risks. They will keep fighting weak opposition in hopes of landing a Pacquiao fight, as much as I love Pacquiao I wish he was out of the sport so fighters like Spence, Mikey Garcia ,Porter and Danny Garcia can just move on and fight each other
