in terms of financial impact and anticipation i dont think we'll ever see anything like floyd/pac ever again. but one thing im sure about is bud/spence will be memorable. pac/floyd was an abomination to watch.

Not that great of a comparison. Mayweather and Pacquiao were the two biggest stars in the sport. Like if Joshua and Canelo had been in the same weight class. Hard to compare that to Spence and Crawford when Spence is just starting to turn into a big draw and Crawford isn't really a draw at all.

Mayweather and Pacquiao fought less than 5 years ago so that is a very short generation. Crawford and Spence are big stars but not nearly as big as Pacquiao and Mayweather.Not enough money has been offered to Spence to make the fight happen. In fact I have not heard of any money at all being offered to Spence. Crawford says sign the contract. What contract? Unless they are both very well paid they will never fight. Porter says he will fight Crawford so why doesn't Arum and Crawford make that fight? If Crawford can beat Porter much better than Spence did it would make Crawford look like the best welterweight but I am not sure he beats Porter. Lots of top guys are not fighting each other these days. Look at the top middleweights not fighting each other and the same thing at 154.
