This thread is the first time I’ve ever heard people claim that mocking an accent isn’t racist in my entire life.

Mocking someones accent isn't racist. It happens often over here. State to State (USA) and Province to Province (Canada) will have different accents. Americans will mock Americans accents. Canadians with Canadians, etc.
