Can Savannah Marshall beat Claressa Shields?

I've watch all of Marshall fights since she turned pro and I have to say, she has a stalking style, places her punches well.

In 8 fights, Marshall has stopped 6 fighters and the two fighters she didn't stop, she dropped. The two fighters with winning records on her resume, she dropped one of them and stopped the other. Is she ready for Shields? who knows, that why they fight the fights..Shields defense is excellent, however i think Marshall can stop Shields before Shields stops Marshall.

never heard of her until the last issue of ring did a little piece on her. (if you're wondering why tf I get physical copies of ring magazine...I get the year end issue every year at Christmas) apparently she beat shields in the amateurs.

Looks like she beat Shields once in the amateurs at 2012 AIBA World's which she won?

Would be interesting to see it happens assuming Shields goes back to 160-168. Which she probably will.

        She can

She also has genuine power, which you don’t find much in women’s boxing.

Savannah has the potential but I'd like to see her in with someone worth a damn before calling it. Franchon Crews-Dezurn and Claressa debuted against each other but Franchon is now rated #1 by the LBC (the only female ranking site I can find) and #2 by Boxrec at SMW. I reckon she's the one Hearn should be reaching out to and she signed with GBP last year apparently so it's a no brainer to match 'em up on DAZN.

Savannah Marshall, Britain’s first ever female amateur World Champion, has signed a promotional deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing. The undefeated Hartlepool sensation, trained by Peter Fury, has cruised to six straight wins since announcing herself in the professional ranks on the blockbuster Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor bill at the T-Mobile Arena in Las […]

Franchon seems like a real cool chick too, FWIW.
