Roy Jones Jr vs Jeff Lacy?

I know alot of you don't give Roy a chance in heck to beat Lacy, but after seeing how one dimensional Jeff Lacy has been his whole career leading up to the Joe C. fight. I think Roy has a pretty good chance of out boxing Lacy. Even when lacy fought Michael Grants Brother The Alien. That guy was very slow and was having great success on the outside. I see Jones beating him with trouble in the beginning but later figures Lacy out and boxing his way to a UD. Watcha guys think?

I have never rated Lacy as high as some did because he had never beat anyone

but he is the wrong style at this point in RJJ's career

he would pressure Jone who leaves his hands down and loses focus at times and i think he would get caugt and stopped within 6rounds

It's hard to call. They're both excellent world class boxers. True honourable warriors.

I'd probably have to say RJJ because of his experience (you can't buy experience) and speed.

I'd go with Lacy. big puncher, pretty fast hands, and he would NOT want to lose. He'd go straight at Jones, just like Ajamu did at the start of their fight. If ajamu can do it for a round, I pick Lacy to do it for six or seven and stop Roy - and end his career.

Good fight, actually, I'd like to see this one.

It's a tough one to pick as neither fighter vaguely excites me at present. Lacy got destroyed by Calzaghe and it's hard to see how he'll ever be the same. But saying that, RJJ has been losing to fighters that he would've embarrased ten years ago.

I'd much rather a fight between two up and comers. There's far too many old champions still knocking about in the fight game for my liking.
