The rotation system should be replaced by unified mandatories. Two mandatories are due? They fight each other to become double mandatory. This way you cant ditch one belt to duck a mandatory. You'd have to ditch two belts and nobody is going to want to do that.

I have urged the WBC many times to explore the possibility of unified mandatories and Moro has been receptive. The problem is no other organization is open to the idea.

Like Pulev isn't 40 years old and Usick isn't a blown up cruiser. Andy laid AJ out and ran him out of town. Takam and Parker gave him fits in his own kitchen. Complain about the symptoms all you want, but AJ has a bad case of vitreous mandibula.

I wouldn't worry. A deal will be reached. AJ is drooling at the chance to fight this mando. He's going to make a great payday for beating up a Bulgarian slug.

I wonder if REDEEMER went to the IBF on AJ's behalf and blew the ranking committee members in exchange for ranking Pulev #1.

My good man. You have a point of "if Fury is not available". But my comment was more in a general sense of the alphabet soup does what they want when they want. Parker hadn't fought anybody of note to jump 3 spots. If they are going to drop Fury, then the guy under Fury should have moved up (I couldn't find the latest rankings but Adam Kownaki is 3rd on the ones that i found).

Don King's politics is replete in modern day boxing. Attention is now paid more to the politics than the actual fights. I don't think there should be a trilogy in the Fury-Wilder fight. Let the winner of the fight fight Anthony Joshua and let's have one true champion

The WBO already issued its reason to Fury, if a fighter is not available he won’t stay ranked in a high order,it’s why most get taking off rankings altogether if they get a title shot in another . It’s also why WBC will not rank anyone outside their own if they get a title shot or become a champion in another sanctioned body .

Parker is the former WBO champion , Fa, Ruiz , Kownacki , Duboius ? I can’t see anything to suggest these top guys in top 6 merit skipping Parker .

Pulev defeated Hughie Fury for a final elimination bout .

Ortiz never even defeated anyone as good as Hughie Fury, Ortiz defeated Dan Martz and Chris Hammer to get his title shots ? Ha

Only thing getting blown is you, out of the water . You can’t even put together one reasonable post and it always exposes how uneducated you really are ! Ha

I understand that Parker was a former WBO champ, but he was ranked 5th. How did jump 3 spots? That's ridiculous. Even if Fury was unavailable, nobody can justify jumping 3 spots without some shenanigans going on. If Parker had moved up to 4th, i could be like "that's fair enough". But 5th to 2nd? No way

You think that’s crazy ,3 spots ? You obviously aren’t used to boxing rankings, what about a guy named Arreola or Washington ? These guys were ranked 25 maybe 27 ,somewhere around there and without fighting anyone went to a 10 spot so Wilder could fight them, Breazeale who actually fought Wilder was demoted Under Fury for no reason at that time even after winning his final elimination bout and you want to talk weird doings on rankings ?

Sorry but if you know logic ,jumping a few spots when one is already proven isn’t strange,no one follows boxing and thinks it is , come on now at this point you just want to be right .
