Not really. Out of the dozens of fighters he's had since Sergio Martinez retired the only notable champion he's had is David Benavidez who was already on several promoters' radar.

Javier Fortuna is about to fight for a title and is already a 2 division champ another Dominican is Jeison Rosario also fighting for a belt. He also had Gabriel Campillo who beat Tavoris Cloud and got robbed and should've been a two time champ at 175. He discovered Manny Pacquiao and has a fighter called Amilcar Vidal from Uruguay who looks promising.

Why does the author use his birth name instead of his fight name?

]Aside from Pacquiao, I wouldn't consider most of those very notable. Mostly secondary champs, guys who lost the belt after 1 or 2 defenses, and fringe contenders. His success rate in producing elite fighters is very low for the amount of fighters he has signed.

He's had several champions but there reigns were very brief. Pac, Marinez, and Benavidez are the only ones I would consider elite. That's three top fighters and several dozen duds who didn't amount to much.
