I wish people would stop with these "she's half man" comments. She's a whole man.

I like Habazin's attitude going into this. And remember, Shields only has 9 Ws, with a mere 2 KOs. I'll be rooting for Habazin to box the loud mouthed Shield's ears off throughout. And yes it would be a victory against bullies. Good on Habazin for starting a anti-bullying platform in Croatia. We need more top boxers reaching out to help their communities.

Ali, Tyson, Leonard, Roy Jones, and other hall of fame fighters were all pretty confident fighters in their primes. But we didn’t really dislike any of them. And I’m sure some fans couldn’t care for guys like Floyd but at least Floyd beat some top fighters when he was young before taking on the Money Mayweather persona.

Shields comes off over the top arrogant every time she opens her mouth and she hasn’t really built a long enough career yet. Maybe Floyd is mentoring her to create a persona where people come and pay to see you lose. Maybe it’s a marketing strategy for the Shields team. But I can’t watch her press conferences or interviews anymore. She acts like she is the greatest fighter that ever lived and has had only 9 fights with only 2 stops. But I will still be watching come Saturday, LOL!!!!

I really hope so, what a story after the Bashir incident if she can rid boxing at least momentarily of people like Shields and or cleans up the sport and bad influences of people around boxing who should be away from the event when doing check ups, weigh ins, people are just poison at times ..

Nobody said that the guy should be excused for punching the trainer, but in context the trainer was also threatening to commit assault on some women in shields family...

Maybe 5 years ago she would've, but she's pushing 40. She's looking to wrap it up inside 5 fights in all likelihood, and right now she's got 25 straight WBA/WBC welterweight title defenses which is the second most of any WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO/IBO/Ring/lineal title in any weight class ever, male or female (yes, we have to keep in mind the men's divisions are much deeper but Braekhus also beat 17 other alphabet soup belt holders in her 25 defenses including legends like Mathis, St John, Lamare, Farias, and Hallbeck).

She needs one more defense at 147 to get to 26, which would "tie" her with Joe Louis' 26 straight heavyweight title defenses (again keeping in mind the difference in depth).

After that she is being set up for the winner of Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano if Hearn can get that fight done, and there is the matter of the legacy fight with the last living legend out there she hasn't conquered in Layla McCarter, who is also 40.

Braekhus probably doesn't want to change weight classes riding a 25 fight title defense streak.
