I kept having that impulse too. Didn't see it unfolding quite as it did, but I thought Smith had a real chance of catching him with something big... and honestly how many fights do we really get where the underdog's more likely to take it, especially with that tasty x2 on Joe? That woulda been 140pts even with the KO pick I was planning.

I did lay a X3 but never did I think it would go the distance or even Joe winning a decision
I figured he’d catch him , which he did ,but imo was saved by the ref and the fughin doctor

I just meant you were the only 2 out of like 50 people to pick Smith on points. He certainly isn't legendary for his boxing skills or winning on points. You nearly got a Munguia decision too. 3 minutes and 43 seconds away but Spike was just taking too much punishment. Might have been able to survive despite his best health interests had his corner not showed mercy.

Smith by Wide Decision on 2 cards, and a criminal 94-95 card for Hart. Other judges had Joe Smith by 7 and 8 points. One judge filled out their card at the house while getting high before the fight.

...actually it's 97-92, 94-95, 98-91 for a total 11 points in Joe's favour, almost unbelievably meaning the result is Smith by Close DEC instead of wide.

S'actually in the masterthread rules. It's kinda arbitrary but we went with 1-3, 4-6 and 7-10 for 10 rounders.

I can't remember where it was now - probably the 2019 pre-season discussion - but we did have a little discussion on it... one idea that actually never came up was splitting the round down though. It could potentially work I guess, cos you always get a time point for a KO but I reckon we'll stick with what we got for this year at least. Creative thinking though, man.

Koba, I was feeling myself last night! I was just floored that one judge had it on Hart by 94-95, outcome is still close. But that was some bull shish to say the least doe. Looks like a few people pulled it off this weekend.I was stating that 2 refs were wide and the other was effed up. Did t want you thinking that i was saying that Joe won by Wide. I was just stating, even though my fiat sentence said Joe won wide on two cards didn’t mean that that was the total outcome bro. Cheers
