Say that's about right. I don't care how much a dude thinks he's ready that kind of trauma can mess you up bad in ways you might not even understand or realise at first. I think it'd be foolish to rush him back in.

And I don't particularly rank Swift all that highly but there's no doubt he's a tough outing for anyone in the division... if Errol ain't fully back to his old self a fight with Danny will definitely show it.

If the 1st fight is with a guy in the bottom part of the top 10 then this plan seems good to me. I don't think he should fight some boxrec nujmber 30 guy like Thurman did fighting Lopez on his comeback fight. Too many champions are defending their titles against unworthy challengers. Spence is better than that and he hasn't been out of action all that long. I think he will fight as good as ever or better.
