I got a lot of respect for Usyk and I think he’s really great, but I can’t see him touching fury. Fury is real good right now and a honest 6 9. That man is a house.

      Usyk earned his WBO ranking.

      Fury and Whyte didn't.

Not one for the old automatic crack at the title .The fighter should get a top ten but made to prove his worth against the elite of that division.I understand the WBO 's current ruling but also understand Tyson's reaction. As it stands both Wilder and Fury and maybe even Joshua would be decent favourites to beat this little guy with hardly any experience up there.

Fury ain't beating Wilder and Usyk ain't beating AJ. It doesn't really matter. Even if fury did beat Wilder AJ won't fight him next I'll be Pulev lol

The big3 in Wilder, Joshua and Fury will avoid Usyk and are ready to do just about anything to not to fight him, this is a perfect example of it

Tel em Fury. Ustiff doesn't get a shot after beating one unranked heavyweight. Holyfield fought 3 top ranked heavyweights and 6 total before he got his shot. Holy also unified the cruiserweight belts before jumping to heavy. Tell em Fury. Tell this idiot reading also

This tells me after Fury defeats Wilder he may be thinking undisputed ? Usyk would probably wait again and actually fight for all the belts not just one In thinking Joshua can get past Fury and roll the dice . Getting the belt off Wilder is the key ,the man doesn’t want Undisputed since the easier Ruiz is no longer an option .

The HW division is the limitless division there is no weight restrictions hence it's deep (finally) but more importantley a heavyweight can't move up so all is not fair in love and war.

You cannot compare this to, for example, a welterweight champion moving to super welter when he already hit the ring at the middleweight limit beforehand, you just can't.

Good example Holyfield, undisputed cruiserweight champion (any old timers remember the WBA "junior heavyweight belt") had to go threw a handful of known challengers before the big heavyweight challenge.

Just checked David Hayes resume as he is the last thing close to undisputed CW champion and, he did fight for the WBA in also his second fight like Uysk so I may have just owned myself but that was already a fractured title.

Nobody wants a title vacated except the WBO
                    'Nuff said!

"unranked" ? ... How about bargain basement , uninterested, retired, "pick up a paycheck" former fighter.

It was just awful and disgraceful that such a "fight" was even sanctioned.

Why not just make a belt for Usyk

But then again this is professional boxing. The norm is "anything goes" !!
