And to be fair to Fury: his legacy is also having taken the belts from Wlad in his back yard.

Tony Thompson (B level at the time) was pretty old when they fought but still a good win. Dimitrenko & Ustinov are glorified journeymen but at the time he beat them they were C+ level at their best. Both guys had bloated records. Pulev has also avoided big punchers. Sam Peter was a washed up slob when they fought. Joey Abell & Wladimir Klitschko were the only 2 big punchers he actually faced & both dropped him. I like Pulev but he is not any better than Ortiz. A decent opponent for Joshua but his mandatory position is a thorn in the sides of the big 3. Get it out of the way! Ortiz best wins are against the same old Tony Thompson, Scott, Hammer, Kauffman but I would say his win over Jennings was his best. He also hasn't exactly been in the ring with any top contenders other than the 2 Wilder fights. I got Scott, Kauffman & Hammer as C+ level guys. Jennings & Thompson B level. When I compare their 3 best wins I give the edge to Pulev over Ortiz. Pulev's best 3 wins are over Chisora, Hughie & Thompson while Ortiz's are over Thompson, Hammer & Jennings. Both are past their best days... Combined they are 0-3 at the top level (Top level being legit top 10 HWs)...
Well stated. Both guys are actually on Chisora level. Only reason Chisora has 9 loses is, he actually fights a very good competition.

I wouldent say he is a stiff but this year or next needs to be fighting the likes of top prime fighters like Fury /Wilder in their primes.Personally the Pulev fight doesnt interest me.The only fights outside of Fury/Wilder that I would pay for would be Daniel Dubois.

I really don`t care if AJ fights Pulev, Usyk, Chisora, Price, Schwarz ar Hammer in next fight. He won`t get any credit for anything if he doesn`t fight Wilder or Fury.

100% which is why he is probably given up one of them belts.

Despite what some think I can see the winner of Fury/Wilder fighting Joshua this year.As Tyson Fury said if both fighters want to fight they will.
