A lot of people wanted to see the Loma-Rigo at the time. A 2-time gold medalist vs a 2-time gold medalist between two incredibly skilled fighters. That was a once in a lifetime kind of fight. There were many posters and fighters that expected Rigo to win and take Loma to school.

    Hindsight is always 20 20.

Davis vs LSC isn't a fight whereby anybody expects LSC to be competitive at all. It doesn't have the prestige of 2 of the greatest amateur fighters of all time fighting each other. It's another tune-up for Tank and on PPV to boot.

There isn’t a lot of smaller guy of Latino heritage that Tank can fight on PPV. Cruz is just too small for 135 IMHO, and if this sell I would be shocked. The Latino fans are probably thinking they got fooled into the Mikey v Spence fight, they aren’t going to give Cruz any chance here if this fight happens at 135.

It isn't a PPV worthy, neither is Loma-Lopez. Promoters are getting too greedy.

Is LSC perhaps the 2nd greatest amateur to ever lace em up? I think not. Was it a PPV? I think not. No comparison there so sit down and shut up son. Plus take a look at their resumes, Loma was at least facing champions and top contenders, Porky has a hobbled Gamboa as his greatest victory. Sad stuff.
