I think they are both outstanding welterweights and I would pick Spence to win but it should be a close fight. I like Spence's higgher punch output and KO percentage. Everything Spence has done has been at 147 while most of Crawford's fights have been at 135 and 140. Spence threw 1100 punches at Mikey and won every round outlanding Mikey 400 punches to 70. Mikey is a good fighter with world titles at 135 and 140 and a one sided win over Broner. I am sure Crawford would beat Mikey but I don't think he would beat him as easily. Crawford had too much trouble last fight beating an average contender. I don't think Spence would have any problems beating that same guy much easier than Crawford did. Spence just looks like a slightly better welterweight than Crawford to me.
Regarding CRAWFORD/SPENCE - Adding fuel to the fire, my opinion...

quick question for anyone
if bob arum had spence and all the other pbc WWs(which hold 3 of the belts divided by 2 guys) and crawford was all alone over at the pbc.....dont you think bob would make a unification to unify the 3 belts inhouse before considering fighting crawford? im about, ohhhhh, 100 percent certain he would
especially if the inhouse unification was ppv worthy and crawford was over there holding his d1ck without decent fight on the horizon for him.....
im like 100 percent certain....stop trying to pin it on al and spence....it will happen
btw my opinion is its a 50/50...with me leaning slightly towards crawfordComment

As a Spence fan I agree 100%
Not only he looks slightly better, the resume tells us more what we need to know as far as who is the top guy in the division.
Most people are holding Crawford higher than Spence based on the skills/eye test. But that doesn't say anything when the competition is not even close. I wonder how many Crawford fans are okay with his resume, but will shyt on GGG when he was knocking out 'bums' as they say.
But no blame to Crawford either. Not only he is a bit of a slow starter, he generally annihilates the 'lower' level competition the way an elite fighter is suppose to.
I also think he deserves a bit more credit for his win over Egidijus Kavaliauskas. I remember seeing this guy over the years and feeling he had the goods, and might make some noise. He is no push over and I think he still has the chance to come back and be a top 10 fighter. It's unfortunate people looked at him as a bum because no one really knows of him. Again, I think he is better than what people made him out to be. It wasn't an off night for Crawford, Egidijus Kavaliauskas is actually a pretty damn good fighter.Comment

Thanks man. Every now and then there’s sum legit convos on here that dont deteriorate. U mentioned social media before. I’m scared of a future where fighters will be trying to gain traction, hype, heat, love, hate, bias, contracts, stroke, money, based on whatever political/social comments they tweet that have nothing to do with boxing. The type of stuff that brings interest to that lucrative fringe fan market. I think boxing will be more resistant than most sports, but controversy and money is a part of boxing.Comment
