Munguia has been stepping into the ring at around 180 while fighting unknowns at 154. They're saying that he's going to look better at 160 but if he's still blocking 80% of punches with his face then he's still going to have to fight cans. He can move up to 175 FFS, but if he doesn't fix his many problems it won't matter

I agree . Hes to little for 175 but in a few years that will be a go if hes still around . This kid is so young that's why I dont care too much if he takes some easier fights now that he isnt holding a belt

I'm surprised DAZN has a pretty quiet first two months of the year as far as number of cards go. The same can be said about espn, n there's not a single espn plus card in the month of january. The pbc early schedule besides fury-wilder is rather weak.

        DAZN
Munguia-O sullivan-IM TELLING YOU PEOPLE, if o Sullivan's chin holds up, this will be a shootout
Farmer-Diaz-I think farmer narrowly escapes with a decision, good contrast of styles
Roman-akbsfhjhhn-the European is very talented, n this is a 50/50 fight..should be exciting
Andrade-keeler-terrible mismatch, n Andrade will likely box to a boring decision
Brook-deluca-underrated matchup, brook coming off a long layoff n deluca impressed me in his last fight..several other competitive fights on the card
Ryan Garcia fight(forgot his opponents name)-garcia likely destroys him, not a good matchup
Linares-Morales-very interested in this fight due to the fact linares has declined
Garcia-Vargas-id favor garcia 55/45. Garcias performance against Spence was a turn off..vargas size n own ability makes him a live dog, should be action packed
Yafai-chocolotito??-great, evenly matched fight at this point in Gonzalez's career IF it makes made
Martinez-Harris-Martinez is a buzzsaw, I expect Harris to box, great fight
There's also an Italy card Feb. 28th n those are generally pretty fun.

        ESPN:
Smith-hart-good fight between two established contenders, could go either way
Alvarez-seals-no interest for me in this one, Alvarez by easy tko
ESPN plus afternoon card feb. 1st
Ramirez-postol-im anticipating this one, postol always gives a good account of himself, Ramirez is terrific
Then we've got the golden contract semi finals feb. 21st which should be great fun
Fury-wilder PPV-first blockbuster fight of 2020, doesn't need to be explained

        PBC:
Williams-Rosario-ill admit I know nothing about Rosario, but he brings a good record in against a great fighter in William's
Garcia-redehk-this is a mismatch, garcia by late tko in a one sided fight
        Jarret hurds return-should win easily
Caleb plants defense-I know nothing about his opponent, but it's a hometown title defense
Wilder-fury PPV-will be buying it, hope the card is loaded

Showtime also has claressa shields this Friday in a card of mismatches along with Gary Russell in feb. As well as several shoebox cards

        I'd rate DAZNs schedule a solid B

        I'd rate espn a B-

        I'd rate pbc/showtime a C-

        Thoughts?
        Francisco Fonseca

        Easy win for Munguia

        DAZN - B
        PBC = C
ESPN = D, they're always the worst imo

I did not take a real close look when I began to make my cards up for the next two weeks of Boxing> DAZN looked weak but maybe I missed the bigger picture. That said I am glad to see SHOWTIME coming out of the gate with several cards. I do not want to believe that SHOW is done for we need a more mainstream boxing show in the mix of APPs.

The GGG/Szermata and Andrade/keeler fights are TERRIBLE. DAZN should be penalized for not making ggg/andrade and instead giving us that BS. I do like the Breidis/Dorticos fight in march.

ESPN and PBC should get a bit of an upgrade for making the Wilder/Fury 2 card, which is the most anticipated fight of the 1st half of the year. The Russell card is good. The rest of the cards are small time. The card this Friday is going to be very good for an FNF/SHoBox level card.

PBC should be penalized big time for putting Mike Dallas jr. in a main event in 2020. I also disagree about Alvarez/Seals. That will be a better fight than people expect IMO because I see them closer to each other than most.

Very true. The single biggest fight is clearly wilder fury which isn’t on dazn it’s fair to say, but they just have much more quantity to choose from - not dissimilar to last year really.
