I agree, he needs to look impressive against Vargas to get that Pac fight, otherwise, he should just move down to 140 lbs where he could be a champion once again.

Freddie Roach keeps saying Mikey wasn't a good option for Pac because he was coming off an ugly loss. So if he can get a WW win, he can hype his way into a fight with Pac. All the haters here keep talking about money and this and that..... name ONE fighter that ISN'T trying to get the Pac fight?! Cut Mikey some slack. He lost ONE fight and it's the end of the world! Danny saying Pac's name, Porter name droppin, Spence, Thurman was before their fight. EVERYBODY wants to fight Pac. Mikey is no different, he just gets **** on for it.
Mikey is a very good fighter but he was overwhelmed when he fought Spence due to size difference. He should have fought at 140 lbs first and see how it goes before jumping to 147 lbs.

Vargas already won a world title at 147.
Mikey is yet to win against any welterweight opponent.
Vargas by decision

This bullshxt is exactly why I took Mikey out of my top 10.
If he was really serious, he would've finished business at 140 & then moved up after he unified like Terence Crawford did. What's wrong with Josh Taylor? Regis Prograis?
Mikey's just showing me that he only really came back to probably get a Pacquiao fight and cash in.
