I get it. What I don't get is why we're so happy to follow along with it. Why we take an active part in rooting for promoters plans. It's like we're happy to get crumbs when what we really should be asking for is bread.

I don’t think anyone is rooting for the promoter plans. I think if you enjoy watching a particular boxer you will watch regardless of the matchup.

Frankly, a lot of the newer fans don’t want to see their favorite fighters compete as much as they want to see them win. The networks realized this and you see it with how they make fights for the top guys.

If a boxer gets good ratings they will give him a 3 fight deal. The 1st 2 fights will be easy wins and then the 3rd fight will be the big one. If a guy. Gets a 5 or 6 fight deal you know most of those fights will be showcase type fights.

Boxing, like every sport, has to adapt to what young fans want.

Terence Crawford is a universally recognized top 5 p4p fighter, a three division champion and one of two active boxers to win an undisputed championship. I don’t give a f**k who’s he fought at welterweight, he should be fighting to unify.

No acting like Bud & Spence are proven to be the only thing that matters is exactly the "fanboi phagtry" thats ruined boxing. You two are actually acting as if Crawford has proven a single goddamned thing at ww other than being slightly above average.

Spence has only proven that hes a lil better than the rest(& I'm a huge Spence fan & always have been because I knew he was better than the rest) The reason this bs has ruined Boxing is exactly because of what you two are doing at this moment, pretending that bud v Spence is the only fight that matters & as if Crawford should just duck Porter because hes somehow in idiot minds like "shanemoselysrs" somehow a bum like mean machine who robbed a c level like robinson.

In Boxing as has been proven constantly,the guy who fanbois think is the best guy oftentimes isn't & ends up getting derailed & instead of realizing your imagined superfight never was a great matchup you thought it was,these same fanbois will instead cry about the superfight that could've been being ruined,yet as has been proven,theres nothing that was ruined but instead the division gets much better when theres multiple fighters who can win it all on any given day.

That is why Crawford is a straight up coward for making all that noise about fighters in higher/lower divisions than him supposedly ducking/robbing the best,& he cries about being ducked eternally yet here he is ducking like a straight up coward the opponent that would make him reach that higher level in Porter. I don't care what fighter it is,any man that behaves in the manner Crawford has been acting is acting cowardly,you can't sell woof tickets then Btch out when an elite name wants smoke.
