Pacquiao was the favorite over Broner and basically even money with Thurman. If they really wanted him to lose they would have matched him up with Spence right away.

Im pretty sure they didn't think Thurman would get beat. Broner of course they knew lol

People keep mentioning the Lopez fight but he didn't look that bad. He got hurt, like he did vs Collazzo and beat up Lopez as he was supposed to. He lost like what, 2 rounds?

Pretty sure they weren't so sure about Pac winning that one. I thought Thurman would beat him to be honest. I was really surprised at the result. Manny showed his age fighting in spurts but he did great.

But now Haymon will rob Pac of the decision vs Garcia. And transfer Pac's star power to Garcia, like Arum did with Horn.

Haymon will rob Pac of a decision, be sure of that.

Pac wants Floyd and Haymon ain't delivering.

yeah, and I'm sure those were all 5 post ALT accounts that never got used again after that fight.

Broner needs 2 things for me to bet on him. He needs to be motivated, and he needs to be fighting at 135 or under lol

motivation on it's own means **** all.

Pac is lucky PBC took him in and has a stable of fighters he could sell a good amount of PPV's with and also very well win the fights.

The Broner and Thurman fights were blessings. Both 500k+ PPV fights that were very winnable.

He could not have gotten that at Top Rank. Danny Garcia is most likely next, another fight he will probably win and sell another 500,000 PPVs.

Pac signed with PBC thinking it would be his best shot at getting the Floyd rematch, I'm thinking. And I think he gets the rematch this year, since Floyd announced his return.

Relaistically, it's the only fight worth coming back for, for Floyd. And the only fight that can generate the type of money Floyd's looking for.

Floyd's roadmap for pac when signing...haha

Former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather has revealed that he personally told his manager, Al Haymon, that Adrien Broner was the perfect opponent for Manny Pacquiao's next fight. Pacquiao, who back in July captured the WBA "regular" welterweight title with a knockout of Lucas Matthysse, has confirmed in several interviews that his next fight will take place in January, against Broner.
