Comments Thread For: Frampton Eyes Herring in May: I'm Itching To Get Back in There!

Carl Frampton has responded to reports regarding his injured hands insisting he will be more than ready for a potential fight in May. Frampton (27-2, 15 KOs) made a successful return to the ring in November, as he dropped previously unbeaten Tyler McCreary twice on his way to a dominant victory in Las Vegas.

I'd be looking forward to that. Frampton has always put on entertaining fights, and I think he has a good heart. I hate to see him getting injured (and re-injured) in the ring, though. Hopefully he'll be healed and strong by the time he fights again.

Good matchup. I think it would produce a competitive and entertaining scrap.

Frampton's left hook to the body is money, and was landing to great effect against McCreary despite the injuries to both hands. That could be the telling punch against Herring whose large frame leaves a big target for the left.

WAR FRAMPTON - coming for that 3rd divisional title. Hopefully Arum matches the winner against the Berchelt-Valdez in the second half of the year or early 2021.
