  • Comments Thread For: Regis Prograis Eyes Garcia-Vargas Victor; Terence Crawford

Regis Prograis is coming off a fight of the year frontrunner, and although he came away with a loss, the former super lightweight champion still believes his stock is at an all-time high. The 30-year-old Bayou-born boxer feels that he won a lot more than he lost after a majority decision defeat to Josh Taylor in October.

Became a fan of Prograis during his time in the U.K. and the Taylor fight. Fingers crossed he gets some big fights and can string some good wins together at 147. Would like to see a Taylor rematch at the higher weight down the line.

Prograis seems like a natural 140 lb fighter to me

He lost to Josh Taylor by a hair.

There's no reason why he should have any trouble getting fights just because he lost.

No argument there, but there are bigger fights for him at 147. Taylor and Ramirez will focus on each other now before moving up themselves, not sure that leaves any good money fights for Prograis at 140.
