Most of the Horn hate comes from Manny lovers and their conspiracy theory that some how Horn rigged their fight. It makes no sense but it doesn't have to in their eyes, the mere fact that Manny was beaten in a close fight is enough to trigger them eg Maywaeather.

As for Horn's ability, if he was US based and received world class training then he would be right up there but his active defence is rubbish for a start, he is a blunt instrument and a very effective one considering his lack of finesse.
