These alphabet organizations are taking the piss

3 wba belts in some divisions and now 2 wbc belts in the same division and that’s not counting “interim” or “champ in recess” nonsense then it’s like 4 wbc/wba belt holders in 1 division

Seriously how do we get rid of these organizations? Is there some legal process that fighters can sue them for killing the sport?

Making these Extra Champs WBA and WBC were paid off by Haymon and Arum so that their fighters Tank and Heany can fight a bum for a vacant title rather than face Lomachenko what a joke boxing is becoming. Being World Champ today is equivalent to being North American Champ if you compare boxing to the 80, and 90's

Maybe if Zuffa Boxing teams up with PBC and buys out Top Rank. They could then make a play to have just their one belt recognized like the UFC. And perhaps they can coax DAZN into the fold or purchase them outright as well.

It’s why he IBF has being seen as the most credible in all recent polls I have seen. They don’t create as many phantom belts , they have more logical and sensible approaches to mandatories and enforce them in a consistent way.

The WBA are introducing belts left, right and centre whilst WBC aren’t far off, and worse still are making decisions on mandatories based on personal views and nationality.
