I agree, i wish he would retire already.
He just has the mentality of a warrior, and isn't going to give up boxing unless someone makes him. I believe they should have made him stop boxing about 3 years ago maybe even longer than that. Holyfield needs to retire before he ends up dead in the ring, or he's walking around like ALI is now.

Beating Bates will give him a good confidence boost.

The only problem is that he will beat him and think he can still do well and then when he steps it up he will be majorly hurt.

I wish Holyfield the best, but this is getting old.

Hopefully that doesn't happen to Roy nor does it need to happen to Holyfield.

Thats what happens when the skills are eroded but the heart is still their.

It's a sad story when a fighter fights a low caliber guy and beats him thoroughly and thinks he can compete with the other top guys.

The difference between Roy and Evander in their fights is that Roy beat a top 10 guy while Evander is fighting a guy who basically came out of Toughman with no experience at all...It will give Holyfield a win but he needs to have a reality check about who and what type of guy he is facing.
