Comments Thread For: Carlos De Leon, Former Cruiserweight Champ, Passes Away At Age 60

Puerto Rico's first-ever cruiserweight champion has become boxing's first dearly departed of 2020. Great fighter, a little too young to pass away.

Rest In Peace Champ! Blessings and Prayers for the family. It’s gotta be hard to accept when he was only 60 years old.

That was also Camel. The only time De Leon fought for the IBF title was his undisputed championship vs. Holyfield.

60 is young! Ive noticed boxers dont tend to have long lives. I hope with modern medicine this changes for the current & future generations.
