          I don't think so. Without gimmicks and nonsense boxing probably just dies down and we get treated to even more talentless bums because no one with talent does sports that don't pay worth a damn.

          The public loves being lied to, promoters' jobs is to lie and gradize everything because it's worked for about 300 years.

            Fact is that if you pay for a crappy fight they will come out with more.

            Another fact is that boxing is the theater of the unknown and you never know what fight could be a gem.
