Danny Jacobs, Jessie Vargas and Julio Ceasar Chavez Jr., left PBC to sign with DAZN.

Oscar Rivas and Artur Beterbiev also signed with Matchroom before fighting on DAZN.

So your list should say Ruiz and Derevyanchenko.

Andy Ruiz was just dumped by Top Rank, was nowhere near the top of PBC’s stable of heavyweights and was offered the biggest purse of his career. Of course he’s going to leave the PBC platform for that fight.

Sergey Derevyanchenko doesn’t have an exclusive deal with PBC networks. Two of his last three fights have been off the network and his fight with Culcay could have gone elsewhere if he and DiBella had wanted it too.
Come on Shane. Stop it. Cobra is right on this.

Haymon is a manager and has allowed some of his guys to fight on DAZN. In some cases he has allowed them to make deals with matchroom to promote those fighters.

Now if you’re mad he isn’t letting the top names help DAZN sell subs by signing off on them fighting on DAZN, ok. That is fair.

      Chavez Jr

Beterbiev left Haymon when he left DAZN

Despite a three-fight deal in place, the light heavyweight titlist found a loophole that could potentially end the deal. According to a report from The Ring senior writer Mike Coppinger, Beterbiev’s promotional pact with Michel only remained in place through his alignment with adviser Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) platform.

Haymon agreed to release Beterbiev in lieu of going to court over failure to meet his mandatory minimum of contractually guaranteed fights, which in turn nullified the boxer’s existing agreement with Michel. In turn, it would also effectively terminate any such arrangement with Hearn and DAZN, although that side is still being sorted out.

Right before Jacobs signed with DAZN

The Brooklyn based boxer snagged a W in his last outing, two months ago against Sergey Derevyanchenko, at the MSG Theater. But the big room would beckon if indeed Canelo heads back to 160 and for his next foray, his first in 2019, he takes on a challenge from Jacobs.
Jacobs’ advisor Keith Connolly has been chatting up various parties, because Jacobs had a deal to have his fights on HBO. HBO has left the building…so Jacobs, also advised by Al Haymon, could check out what is available on other sides of all the streets.

Did you read the post? He didn’t sign off on most of these fighters fighting on DAZN, they signed a contract with DAZN. They were poached away from PBC.

they weren’t poached. Haymon is a manager, not a promoter or a network owner. Apparently, he can block things based on the way the deal is structured.

Your anger on this is misplaced.

Has Rivas ever fought on a PBC card?

Hearn said that Campbell/Fortuna will be going to purse bid in January, so we may possibly be seeing Fortuna on DAZN.

Claudio Marrero is going to face Kid Galahad on DAZN because Hearn won the purse bid.
