Broner might be a loud mouth but this fool Mikey is full of excuses. Thats just as bad. AB moved up two divisions and fought his heart out while Mikey got stomped for 12 rounds. thats all i saw. AB deserves more credit.

Wow all the Lomachenko nuthuggers are out in droves. Anyone that truly believes Mikey is/ was scared of Lomachenko is not only Delusional but also doesn't know **** about boxing. Lomachenko is tailored made for Garcia. Too bad we won't get to see it. Imo there's a good chance Teofimo is too much for Lomachenko.

Some of you guys are taking this the wrong way. I actually think his mindset here is great. He lost, and lost badly but isn't dwelling on it and is just moving on. Do you want him to get depressed for experiencing his first loss or something?

Now let's se how he performs against Vargas, a guy he should be able to beat.

He is just your typical coward who is afraid of losing to one of his contemporaries. Ten years ago he did something very similar to Yuriorkis Gamboa.

He sued Top Rank to be let out of his contract in order to avoid a showdown with "The Cyclone from Guantánamo" Yuriorkis Gamboa. He was afraid then also.
Did he not also move up to face Lipinets instead of fighting Linares at 135?

Unless Mikey manages to get a match with Pac, I think he's better off just cutting his losses and dropping to 140. Although the top 5 light welters are killers, I don't see any of them whitewashing him like Spence did.

Garcia is a very skilled fighter that got beaten by a better man. Has it ever occurred that it might be hard to him to drop weight and be as effective against Lomacheko because his body has changed?
