The mindset of a loser. Never understood why this guy is popular. Just another pillow fisted little guy.

Nah man, we all remember that it happened. I gave Mikey a lot of respect for chasing that fight. But, I was super disappointed with his effort when the fight happened. He spoke with such confidence during the build up and then went in there and didn't take any risks. He basically fought to survive and looked content to just last 12.

M more concerned now if he even wants to box and be GREAT anymore??? He know reminds me of Gamboa.
Putting his arm up after each round was infuriating though. It was like he was celebrating still standing.

Mikey fan here but I can't respect his performance against Spence. He kept on talking about being great and making history but as soon as he realized what he was up against he shut down and went into survival mode.He made no effort to win, he was basically scared and didn't want to get hurt. He took no risk to win the fight.
The thing is nobody wanted this fight or even thought about this fight before he brought it up. Anyone that knows boxing, knew that fight was a mismatch and knew Mikey had slim to no chance of winning. His brother and dad tried tell him, most fans agreed with that perception but Mikey was stubborn kept talking about being great and making history which is commendable but if that's your angle you better give a spirited effort an actually try to be great and make history. Had he let his hands go and got K.O'd (which more than likely would have happened) he at least would have saved face and his fans could argue that Mikey had the cojones to step into the ring and bring the fight to the baddest dude at 147, all he did was make a fool of himself. I have no idea why he is still fighting at 147. it makes no sense specially when matchroom has the guy to beat at 140. Hopefully he doesn't embarrass himself again.

Spence doesn’t look all that great now either. Roughed up by Porter, got into a car crash due to DWI, and now will only fight once in 2020.

                Both their careers have stalled.

But why not go after another one of those PBC guys? He shot out of there like a bat out of Hell. Makes him look like a ho!

That was a great fight! I'm not sure how someone gets a knock for being in a great fight where they win by a beautiful 12 round KD?

Posters complain that protecting the 0 has become too important in today's boxing.

But then when a guy like Mikey takes a big risk and loses people want to write him off.

So which is it? Are we going to be accepting of losses or aren't we?
