He’s trying to speak it into existence.

He’s doing more than that. Constantly repeating this stuff has shifted fans from caring about how good a fighter is and who he’s beat, to how much money he makes and what kind of numbers he does fighting showcase fights and lacklustre opposition. Just look at this board...it’s all people want to talk about when it comes to tank. You rarely see anyone saying “tank will beat this guy” or “tank will beat that guy”...now it’s “why should tank fight that guy”, “he’s a cash cow” etc.

1. Gamboa is easily one of the most recognized names in the division.

2. 250 total fighting one of the best known names in the division is crap.

3. Stop hating the messenger because you don't like the facts.
