I wouldn't call it a duck. Loma doesn't fight at 140 and neither does Pac. But turning down that fight was weird. That's a PPV fight and beating Pacquiao would've been a huge boost to his popularity.

Interesting- posters were ok with Loma fighting manny but had a fit that tank just fought gamboa. That doesn’t seem to make much sense.

Exactly how didn’t Loma duck manny when They don’t fight in the same division?

I don't remember Pac ever saying he would go down to 140. Loma is really a natural 126 or 130 pound boxer who has moved up twice and is smaller than everyone he fights at 135 already. Pac is a great fighter and only a fool would give up so much weight to a great fighter. Loma isn't ducking anyone and will fight any boxer at 135 tops. You are a Loma hater who just wants to see him lose so you start this thread. At 140 he would be at a big size disadvantage against Pac and it's not a fair fight. Loma would probably lose but that is what you want. You want to stack the odds against him.

What is weird about turning down a fight against a great fighter who is much bigger than him at a weight that is perfect for Pac and far too heavy for Loma? It was a fight he probably would have lost and that would not have helped his popularity. Look what happened to Mikey, Donaire and Gonzalez when they moved too far up in weight against an excellent fighter.

Technically for Pac, going to 140, isn't actually losing weight for him. This time, he wouldn't need to eat 7 times a day before fights to be a welterweight.

repeat post: pacquiao floored a big, and the second or third best welterweight in the world as well as nearly ended the fight with a body shot. He gave up 10 years, 20 pounds, height and reach, and still ****ed up Keith Thurman. He would put Lomachenko (who was put on his ass by Linares) Mikey, and and anyone else below 147 in a ****ing body bag If you can’t see this then I’m sorry but y’all don’t know **** about boxing

The video that made Loma sh.it his cinderella pants:

                    When Loma said no catchweight
                    Manny agrees to 135
When Loma heard this, he said Manny is old and wouldn't want to beat a legend

What a complete duck and a good excuse to exit with it

Lmao "i could've beat him anyway"

Greatest defensive duck to dodge a fight. Bravo lomachenko you earned a trophy for this
