I think by 08 it was clear he was a HOFer without question.

I think ts is wondering at what point in his career did he make it official. Basically was he b4 he moved up.

He already was b4 he even got 147, reason why Pac vs Floyd was one of a kind. Both were HOFers almost a decade before they were mentioned to fight each other

Honestly never really got into Pac-Man. I don't appreciate quite a lot of what he does in ring, I don't like his inability to take a loss without crying, making up excuses, or both, and I don't really get that excited over his record. Longest win streak he's had is like 15 fights.

That said, he just recently took out the trash in Broner and gave Thurman a whooping. To this day Pac is willing to push the envelope and take risky fights that can and often do end with him looking bad and beating beaten and it's his willingness that's actually an all time great quality. His skills as an ATG, basically, I favor the other guy. Be it Gans, or Money, or SRR, or Nonpariel, take your pick, I favor the other ATG, but, his willingness to take a tough fight, that's where he can hang with the greatests.

To be fair, Mayweather's so far above everyone there is no such thing as a risky fight until you get ****** with weight gains, but still, Pac does put his ass on the line over and over and over again and you've to respect that.

                  He is legend now.

                    2008 guaranteed him that already.

If he would've retired back then, no one would've complained. He was already a 6 division champ before fighting above welterweight.

His fights with Barrera I & II, Morales I-III, Marquez I & II, and to end '08 with the dream match against Dela Hoya. Those fights alone sealed him for 1st ballot hof.

                    His retirement record would've been w-l-d 48-3-2 with 36KOs
