Loma has foot-in-mouth disease. He and and team requested the franchise belt. Who is he trying to fool?

Tank and his team have already made it clear enough to us fans that he isnt setting out to be the best he is setting out be a money making star. So there is no need for us to keep pointing out he doesnt seem to want to fight the best fighters but at the same time Tank fans shouldnt be getting so emotional when everybody starts calling him a fraud.

Why call him a fraud when he is making it clear he will be ducking all the best fighters? Cuz he keeps tweeting that he would beat them. If you got no intention of fighting them then you shouldnt be talking about them in the way that he does. Thats clout chasing and gives ppl the impression he does want to fight them.

Get your facts straight. Loma explicitly said that he would get absolutely 0 credit for fighting Pacquiao and he thought there was no legacy in beating a fading fighter. It was a lose-lose for him. Two scenarios:

          1. He beats Pac - Pac was washed, too old, Loma is feasting on old timers.
          2. Pac beats Loma - Hype is over. Even old washed Pacquiao has beaten him.

As far as Garcia, there is nothing to discuss. Garcia himself dodged the discussion about the fight himself and said he didn't care about it.

Can anyone actually shoW some kind of evidence that lomachenko requested this, all I can find is that the WBC votes on this, nothing about any request

Can you imagine what a 130-135 Floyd would have done to Loma.

Can anyone here actually do some diligent research and exercise some common sense? The info is not hard to find and decipher.

Loma loses credibility here because he and TR requested the emeritus designation so they could wait until the Lopez/commey winner and not have to defend against Haney.

I also recall Loma stating that from a business perspective top rank wanted Lopez to win.

This is professional boxing. If you aren’t focused on your business you aren’t doing it properly.

Every article about the story indicated he and TR requested it. I know you’ve seen them because they’ve been posted here.

Why is it so hard for so many to simply criticize the move like you all did when canelo did it?

It’s prizefighting, Team Davis has been clear with their path, they want to build him as a star in the least risky way, which means not fighting anyone that would have a good chance against him. Even if it meant taking little money from those fights.

I don’t mind that as they made it clear. No point in rinsing them over it. I would only criticise them when or if they are taking shots at others or calling out boxer that we all know he isn’t going to fight.... for example Tank calling out Josh Taylor when we know he doesn’t want that smoke (Yet).
