these davis' fans are just making a lot of noise to make him appear like a star but he's not. he's not even as popular as broner was when he was undefeated. and we all know what happened to broner as soon as he step up...he lost and a lot of his fans abandoned him.

for davis to become a star, he needs to step up his competition and wins them. unfortunately he doesn't seem so eager to do that.
PBC fan's, fighters, and top brass live in a bubble where whatever they say goes around the bubble returns back to them which in turn reinforces their beliefs.

No way in hell is Davis a star. If he does a ppv the question that needs to be asked is who is there for him to fight which would be worth paying for a ppv? We all know he will not fight Loma or Lopez. Santa Cruz or Russell will not move up and fight him. There is no opponent which Davis is willing to fight that will make a ppv fight appealing. Now if PBC and Davis are so out of touch and narcissistic that they think he is so popular that he can fight anyone and put it out on ppv then they will be hit with a reality check once the ppv numbers come in.

One thing for certain is beating Gamboa does not make
a ppv star. Not even beating Gamboa in his prime could make a ppv star. Davis, PBC, and his fans are trying todirectly copy Mayweather's blue print and make him the next Mayweather. This attempt will fail as Davis is not remotely in anyway comparable to Mayweather. He is not as good of a fighter, he does not have a charismatic personality, and he does not have the ability to move up in weight multiple times and keep winning. Trying to re-create Mayweather with Davis is a futile attempt and is destined to fail. Mayweather was a much more successful fighter at 130-135lbs than Davis is. He was not afraid to fight the best fighters at 130,135lbs. Davis has done everything to avoid the best at 130 and 135lbs.

More than likely in trying to create another Mayweather they will create another Broner instead.

          Buddy, you said:

"wilder just did twice as many viewers"

I'm not sure if you understand math or not, but Wilder did NOT do twice as many viewers. The hell you talking about? If Wilder did 1.1M using the same metrics, than for him to do "twice as many viewers" than Tank would have had to done 550k viewers. That didn't happen.

those 1.1 mil viewers vs Ortiz was the average viewership. Not the peak and wasn’t counting every single viewer on every I tort and even replay viewership 😂 you trying to hard buddy.
