Just wish this fight doesn't take too long to be made and happens by april.

Good thing to see middle east money on boxing pushing the right fights.

Just hope they dont pursuit the Tank fraud instead of a unification with Lopez.

The comments made here are over the top

        People that know nothing about Gervonta want to blast him for who and when he fights like he choose them and even if he did that’s smart on his part because he whips ass. Then all these racist comments because believe me the same God whom created them, gave your parents grace by allowing you to be here. As my Michigan big brother Roger would say;

Most People Don’t Know **** About Boxing!

Man, you oughta try being a boxing fan in the UK... most US cards don't even start til 3am or later over here. Used to be I'd stay up more - my sleep was shot to shit til about 2016 anyways so it didn't make much difference, but I'm 47 now and staying up all night for a card pretty much means writing off my Sunday, even if I drop off while I'm waiting for it to start.

I still stay up occasionally, but usually I just spend Sunday a.m playing catch up now.

ya 3 am or later is crazy...i struggle for a midnight main event....but im usually sober...i can stay up late if im drinking but i dont drink at home....

we used to do ppv get togethers years ago which was fun but i can rarely get a group together anymore for that

if i was staying up for a 3 am main event id need a bunch of whiskey and charlie lol

That's great that this has been agreed between Loma and Lopez. 2020 already has excellent fights scheduled. However, this is the fight I'm anticipating the most.

Yeah I have never understood the mentality of some. The fight has not been announced as happening in SA yet and they complaining about the time.

Watching fights at 4am - 6am then having to go to work or church the same morning shows how dedicated to the sport UK fans can be.

And to be honest some of these comments shows why the sport isn’t as big in America/North America like they try to claim.

We have devices now that makes it easier to watch whatever you want at wherever you are, even at work at 2pm lunch you can watch your boxing on your mobile phone.

At the end of the day Arum has to look out for the boxers, and if SA pays better and the boxers prefers it then so be it.

                  Makes the most sense.

The fighters want to make the most money out of this as well. Saudi Arabia closer to Ukraine, most fight fans myself included loving the early start time.

Nothing like a great night fight but Loma-Lopez ain’t that just yet. Either guy should fight tank before they make their fight happen.

If I was Lopez I’d fight Ryan Garcia and Loma- Tank, that makes Loma-Lopez the superstar fight it deserves to be.

S.A. Apart from the money offers nothing to boxing a side from stopping the true fans enjoying the big fights and occasions....pointless venue.

Joshua was right. Saudi is becoming the new Mecca of boxing.
