Antonio Tarver was up there with Paulie. He used to do some Showtime fights and he also did some PBC on Spike TV. I don’t know what he did to get himself black balled. It can’t be just the PED stuff.

They tried Tarver out on HBO as well. He just rubs viewers the wrong way. All I know is that for me the way he talks big and booming comes off as a cheap Ali imitation. Everyone seems to have moved on as he’s calling bare knuckle fights these days. No one ever forgave him for the way he disrespected the shell of Jones Jr. and I’m not entirely sure why. He was just doing his job.
