Exactly! This really backfired on them. Only Tank tip riders think that Knocking out a crippled 38 year old man is an accomplishment.

And it wasn’t even really a KO. The ref stopped it because it was the third KD in a hopeless effort. Gamboa lost all but one round, and he was limping around the whole night. There was no point in letting it continue. Yuri probably could’ve made the final bell if he was allowed to go on.

Aside from the KDs, Gamboa looked like he had Marvelous Marvin Hagler's chin that night.

I am surprised that it took him 12 rounds to KO a 38 year old washed up boxer who had been knocked down and knock out many times before and was crippled from round 3 on.Tank's punch output was pathetic. I don't see Tank having much chance to beat Loma or Lopez off of this win.
