What was Leonard Ellerbe's infatuation with

The celebrities being there? That's all he talked about the whole promotion and even afterwards, lol. Celebs are at most fights when a popular fighter is in the ring. It was a little uncomfortable to hear him jocking these celebs like that. I'm not sure what the point was.

He was trying to pump up the event. The implication is that if many people of note are there, it must be good — a seal of approval. Like it or not, a lot of people hang onto celebrity.

Homie, he’s doing his job. Al and floyd don’t pay him to smile and wear sunglasses.

Because they probably paid a lot of them to attend so might as well get his money's worth.

I see celebrities at tons of fight but I cant remember off the top of my head ever hearing a promoter use it as a selling point before the fight. Maybe I just haven't paid attention.

They don’t. Lol But Ellerbe is relatively new to this. Maybe he’s just star-struck. Lol

You lay in bed with Manny and 2-3 other guys yet don’t get paid nearly what Ellerbee does.

You lay in bed alone with a centerfold cut out of Floyd on your ceiling jerking off to it and unemployed on welfare with EBT card in your wallet in your section 8 apartment.
