Someone with decent stamina to push him would have had their way with Davis last night.

They actually hyped up broner more, they said it was clear he was p4p level based on eye test (lot of people had him top 5 p4p) and seemed to completely disregard the ponce de Leon fight. Some people even declared with confidence he would be the fighter of the decade. These guys are addicted to hype and always will be, what I've learnt on here is when their guy loses they jump ship immediately and declare their new fighter they are hyping is clearly better than the old one. People like BoxingIsGreat are happy for tank to.stay fighting bums and old men cause he wont lose and he can pretend that he would demolish the top guys without it ever being put into test

Agree! Fans need to stop making excuses for the fighter they are fans of and instead raise the expectation for them and want better from them

Tank is extremely talented, I do think he has Superstar Potential BUT what he doesn't have is the work ethic or discipline to maintain it if he does reach Superstar Status. Actually he will get WORSE the more money he makes! Like Ruiz, once he gets that mega payday he won't care as much I don't think but I hope I'm wrong

No one compares with Broner in the f#cking up department. He's a ATG. Tank couldn't carry Broner's jockstrap in f#cking up.

I think you are right but fans have a right to remain optimistic when they see a young fighter with the talent of Davis.

I also think because he is aligned with Floyd and Haymon there is a tendency to focus on his shortcomings and Mistakes.

This was a horrible week all around no doubt.

Sometimes the mark of a very good fighter is winning when you are not at your best.

The talent is there. The skills are there. The work ethic is not. It's up to him to decide if he wants to make it to the top or settle for being a hype job. But no. Right now he is not perfecting his craft.
