Irish Sun: Pacquiao/Thurman rematch is what makes most sense for Manny

A rematch with Thurman now makes sense for the Filipino buzz-saw as he looks to close out his legendary career in style.
While I agree it makes sense, I also know 100% that won't happen. There's no way Manny puts himself in that position when he could fight someone else on PBC.

Thurman will be the better man if a rematch happens but I’m not interested to see. No need to avenge your L against an old man. Take that L as a lesson learning and improve. He can still rack-up some good wins

As for Pacquiao, he has limited timeframe but he still has some match-ups left that are interesting to see

      Re: the bold...

NSB was clamoring for 40+ Floyd to accept rematches from Carnelo and Manny.

Whoever those people you’re referring, I’m not part of them. That Floyd and Manny match sooo boring I don’t wanna see it again. So no thanks for that garbage fight, though I think Manny deserves that payday too.

As for Canelo and Floyd rematch. Whoever wants that must really despise Floyd so much LOL

Pacquiao is to old for rematches and trilogies. Others need to get their chance to fight the legend.

Thurman deserved the rematch with his brave performance no doubt, but Manny is kind of running out of time, it's not the perfect time to be doing rematches after rematches like he did in the past.

What's more interesting to me is to see other fighters get their shot. We already saw what Thurman brought to the table, Thurman had his shot, it's time for the other fighters to get theirs.

Wont happen because Thurman is still recovering from hand surgery he even said he won't begin training boxing until June or July at most.

It seems like Errol Spence is the likely opponent.
