i have not seen anything from crawford that suggests he beats maidana but i have seen maidana arguably beat a better technician than crawford in floyd...

but to me , again the outcome would depend on the ref...if the fight does not get broken up too quickly (as in floyd vs maidana 1), i'd favor maidana , otherwise crawford beats him via decision

But to say Maidana was basically unaccomplished is bullshît!

He became champ at 147 by beating a hot streaking undefeated Broner who was on the cusp of stardom!

The Khan Maidana fought and the one Bud fought is night and day as well
Sorry. I ****ed up and forgot about his great win over Broner and he did indeed win a world title and I was wrong to say he didn't. It wasn't intentional I just was in a hurry to answer the thread and forgot the Broner fight. I still pick Crawford to beat him based on Crawford's superior speed and skills. Maidans lost to Alexander who is not as good as Crawford. Maidana fought a Mayweather who was prety old and well past prime and he still lost twice to Mayweather. Crawford has never come even close to losing a fight and he has been a champion at three weights and unified 140. He has KOed the last 7 guys he fought and been either 1st , 2 nd or 3 rd PFP by everybody for years now. Maidana does has good accomplishments but not really close to what Crawford has. Undefeated vs 4 losses.

I read your posts and you are a serious Crawford hater and a Horn and Khan lover. Crawford KOed both of them and you just can't stand it. The question was who wins between Crawford and Maidana and most said Crawford wins. Nobody said Crawford beats Mayweather so don't make shi t up. Maidana lost to Mayweather twice and lost every round to Alexander and lost to Khan. Mayweather was at the tail end of his career and he still beat Maidana twice. People are answering the question by saying PRIME Crawford beats Prime Maidana and nobody said Crawford beats Mayweather so quit crying about that.

Terence Crawford beats any version of Maidana comfortably, and maybe TKO's him late. Completely different level of fighters.

Floyd isn't boxing's official standard of value. Just because you do well against him doesn't mean you beat every other welterweights. Every dog has his day. We can bring up Floyd just as we can bring up Khan or Alexander.

Fighters should be judged on their whole career, not just one fight. Maidana was a tough B-level fighter.

Crawford’s lack of resume has to be taken into account as well then. He has faced nobody who has ever been a real threat. He’s 31 years old and lacks any big fight experience. Maidanas windmill style poses a lot of problems for anyone, especially the Garcia trained version. Crawford has never fought anyone with that type of output or pace. We don’t really know what Crawford’s level is. You can say he’s a champion. Yea, there are 23 for each division. You can say he conquered a division. Ok but who? It’s not far fetched to say Maidana can beat Crawford. It’s a lot closer than people think.

Crawford is one of the few fighters you have to favor against Maidana. Lesser fighters like Spence Jr. And Thurman get stopped early.

I think Crawford’s a bad man, beats Maidana. I thought the first Floyd maidana fight was very close, a draw wouldn’t have bothered me at the time. My brother watched it without sound on and he said Floyd won. I haven’t seen it since and maybe I should. But I also know that the underdog can sometimes get more credit in a close round because he’s having “a good round” while the favourite is having a “bad round” even though it’s actually very even. I think Bud is special. Maidana is tough and determined, we know that because he got punched in the face a lot.
